ImgKoi (imgkoi.com) provides free online tools for converting, compressing, resizing and editing images and PDFs. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean the operators of ImgKoi.

We use the files you upload only to run the tool you chose, and send the result back to you. Processing is fully automatic; no person looks at your files.

• Your original files are deleted as soon as processing finishes.
• Results are deleted automatically one hour after they're created.
• "Delete from server now" on the download page removes your files immediately.
• We never sell or share your files, and we never use them to train AI models.
• Files are sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

You're responsible for having the right to upload and process the images you use.

Like any website, our servers receive technical information with each request: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time.

• IP addresses are held briefly in memory to limit how many requests one visitor can make, which keeps the free service available for everyone.
• Server logs are kept for a short period to keep the service secure and fix problems, then deleted.
• We don't create user profiles or link this information to your identity.

We don't use accounts, so we don't use login cookies. We store a few small preferences in your browser:

• Your light or dark theme choice (local storage).
• Your language, if you change it (a cookie).
• Whether you're in a region where we ask before using analytics cookies, and your answer (a cookie and local storage).
• A reference to your current results, so the download page works after a refresh (session storage, cleared when you close the tab).

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages and tools they use, and where they come from, so we can improve the site. It collects things like pages viewed, the tool used and output format, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and referring site. It never receives your images or their file names.

• Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to tell visits apart. IP addresses are not logged or stored by Google Analytics 4.
• In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland these cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. Until then, Google receives only cookieless signals without identifiers. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
• You can also opt out on any site with Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

ImgKoi is free because it is supported by ads. When ads are shown, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to our site and other sites.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), and from many other vendors at aboutads.info.
• Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, UK and some US states), we will ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown.

We use a small number of providers to run the service: a hosting provider for our servers and Cloudflare for content delivery and security. They process data only to provide those services to us.

We use Google Analytics as described above; Google processes that data on our behalf.

ImgKoi is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, and to object to certain processing. We don't sell personal information.

Because we don't keep accounts and delete files within an hour, we usually hold no personal information about you. To make a request, email [email protected].

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
